http://buildbot.net/buildbot/docs/current/Database-Specification.html leaves a lot of mystery in place about where this multiMaster option lives and how these two masters would be configured to connect to one another and interact.

Yes, this should get better-documented now that it's been used a bit in the wild. We wanted to be quiet about it initially, until the bugs were worked out.
