buildbot with cygwin and perforce

Description

I am trying to setup the build bot slave on a windows machine with cygwin and perforce as my SCM. I have added P4(steps.source.P4) as one of my buildstep too. Unfortunately it gets stuck at

p4 -p <p4server> -u user -P pass -c spec client -i

The same works on linux and solaris machine. let me know if you faced any similar issues or any work around for this.

I had the same problem with Cygwin 1.5. I just recently upgraded to Cygwin 1.7 and I haven't been able to reproduce this bug ever since. This might be worth trying.
