#549 closed defect (worksforme)

"rebuild" button breaks on space-in-pathname, but hitting it a second time doesn't

Reported by: zooko Owned by:

Description

On the Tahoe buildbot instance (v0.7.9+), if you click the "Rebuild" button, you get an error like this:

C:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe /c C:Program Filesdarcsdir-w32darcs.EXE get --verbose --repo-name build --partial --context C:Documents and Settingsuildslavewindows-native-tahoewindows.darcs-context http://allmydata.org/source/tahoe/trunk-hashedformat

...

'C:Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Then, surprisingly, if you hit it again on the resulting page, then it works:

C:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe /c C:Program Filesdarcsdir-w32darcs.EXE get --verbose --repo-name build --partial http://allmydata.org/source/tahoe/trunk-hashedformat

...

Finished getting.

Sounds like Windows shell weirdness...

I think some proper quoting would help there, although I'm no windows expert. Can you reopen if a correctly quoted command still fails like this?
