@verm, can you take a look?

Wasn't this disabled by Dustin? I'm surprised the browser is even active it should be a redirection to Github.

comment:3 Changed 3 years ago by dustin

I recall we disabled, yes, but I'm not sure how to make the browser a redirect?

  • Owner changed from verm to dustin

It's an option in the plugin, was the whole thing disabled? You can also reset the url in the tracnav .ini options for browser to point to a URL.

[components]
# disabled - #3243
tracext.pygit2.* = disabled
#tracext.github.GitHubPostCommitHook = enabled
#tracext.github.GitHubBrowser = disabled
tracext.github.* = disabled

which looks to me like it's disabled (#3243).

I changed

[mainnav]
browser.href = https://github.com/buildbot/buildbot

which seems to have done the trick.

So... is http://trac.buildbot.net/browser should redirect to GitHub?? It doesn't at this moment.

comment:9 Changed 3 years ago by rutsky

As Dustin explained, link shouldn't redirect — it's "Browse Source" Trac button that is now redirects to GitHub.

Confirmed, if you don't know the url and just hit browse source it goes to github now
